About Rossina's

A small ceramics studio and teaching space in Athens. We make a tightly edited collection of stoneware by hand, and open our wheels to anyone who wants to learn.

About Rossina's

Everything we sell is made in the room where we teach. The same wheels, the same kiln, the same glazes — pieces come out of a working studio rather than a production line, which is why no two are quite alike.

We keep the collection deliberately small: a handful of forms we believe in, made repeatedly and refined slowly. Mugs that sit right in the hand, bowls that stack, plates that go from oven to table.

Marks left by the maker's hands, slight variations in glaze, a base that shows where it was trimmed — we treat these as evidence of how an object was made, not as flaws to hide.

How we make

Wheel-thrown, glazed and fired here

Each piece is thrown on the wheel, trimmed when leather-hard, bisque-fired, glazed by hand and fired again. It is a slow sequence, and it is why a single mug takes weeks rather than hours.

Learning

Classes for every level

Workshops run in small groups, from a first hour at the wheel to focused glazing sessions. All clay, tools and glazes are provided, and we fire everything you make — leave your pieces with us and collect them once they are finished.
