This page explains what personal information Rossina's Ceramics collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep this deliberately short and specific: we only collect what a booking or an enquiry actually needs.
Who is responsible
Rossina's Ceramics, Zan Moreas 5, Athens 11741, Greece, is the controller of the personal data described here. For anything on this page, write to [email protected].
What we collect, and why
Workshop bookings
When you book a place we store your name, your email address, your phone number, the number of seats, and which language you were reading the site in. We need this to hold the seat, to send you the confirmation, and to reach you if the class has to be cancelled. The language is stored so that message arrives in the language you booked in. Requesting a workshop date collects the same details, plus the date and time you asked for and any message you add.
Custom order and hire enquiries
When you send a commission, kiln hire or studio hire enquiry we store your name, your email address, your phone number, and whatever you chose to tell us — your idea, what you need fired or how you'd use the studio, along with any colours, quantity, delivery location, dates or budget you add. We use it to answer you and to prepare a quote. Nothing in these forms is required except your name, email, phone number and message.
Technical records
Our server keeps ordinary web logs, which include the IP address a request came from. We also count recent submissions per IP address for up to an hour, to stop automated abuse of the booking and enquiry forms. This is the minimum needed to keep the site working and is not used to identify or profile anyone.
Cookies
This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and there is nothing here that tracks you across other websites. The only cookie we use is the sign-in session for the studio's own staff area, which is strictly necessary and never set for visitors.
We do not run a mailing list and do not send marketing email.
Who else handles it
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. It passes through a small number of companies that run the site for us:
- DigitalOcean — the server the site runs on, located in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Cloudflare — protects the site's connection and forwards email sent to our address.
- Google — the studio's email account, used to send confirmations and to receive your messages. Google may process email outside the EU under its standard contractual safeguards.
- Telegram — when you book, send an enquiry or request a date, the details (including your name, email and phone number) are sent to a private Telegram group so the studio sees them straight away. Telegram may process data outside the EU.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and enquiry records while they are useful to the studio — so we can honour a commission, recognise a returning customer, and meet accounting obligations — and no longer than that. Database backups are kept for 14 days and then deleted. You can ask us to erase your details at any time and we will, unless we are legally required to keep a record of a transaction.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict what we do with it, to receive it in a portable form, or to object to our using it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr), which supervises us.
Changes
If we change how the site handles personal data we will update this page and the date at the top.
